Today’s gonna be an excellent day, folks. That’s because today, we are bringing you two exclusive album streams from Carach Angren, a band we’ve been following for years now.
At the end of this post, we’re streaming Carach Angren’s debut full-length, 2008’s Lammendam, which was just reissued by Season of Mist.
Lyrically, Lammendam tells the dark tale of a French lady in white (la Dame Blanche), who suffered a horrible death in her home of Leiffartshof and returned as a vengeful spirit to the cursed area.
In the slang of the local farmers, la Dame became “Lammendam,” according to the label.
Carach Angren released their third LP, Where the Corpses Sink Forever, and have teamed with Season of Mist to reissue their long sold-out first releases.
The new edition of Lammendam boasts three bonus tracks taken from the much sought after Ethereal Veiled Existence EP. Order it here.
Luckily, the original conceptual artwork and sound of Lammendam have been faithfully preserved.
If you’ve never heard Carach Angren’s debut LP, change that now.
Listen and love, bitch. Later on today, we’ll also be streaming the band’s sophomore release, Death Came Through A Phantom Ship, so check back for that.
Oh, and be patient, son…some of the tunes may take a second to fully load.
