This is sad news to have to report.
A dude who was simply known to many in the New York hardcore scene as Carl the Mosher has died. He was the frontman for the bands The Icemen and Dynamo, and a fixture at so many gigs.
I have no idea how old he was at the time of his death, but numerous unconfirmed reports speculate he suffered a heart attack.
They claim he passed away on Friday.
Carl, whose last name was either Griffin or Dimola, was known for cutting a rug in the pit, and was a firm believer in audience interaction during shows.
He was also a member of the bands Underdog and M13.
Rest in peace, dude.
