It’s been nine years since Dutch death metallers Centurian disbanded. Now, the band have reformed and are said to be preparing material for a new full-length album..
Some of the songs set to appear on the effort include “Antinomian,” “Feast Of The Cross,” “Judas Among Twelve,” “The Will Of The Torch,” “Sin Upon Man,” and “Adversus.”
“The new songs are more Centurian-esque than they are Nox songs,” said guitarist Rob Oorthuis. “The chemistry among the bandmembers, musically and technically, leans on an approach we had back in the Centurian days. Because of this I coined the idea about changing back the name. We have been jamming some songs from both full-lengths already and it feels great!”
Centurian will return to the stage at this year’s edition of the Neurotic Deathfest, set to take place April 29 and April 30 at 013 and MIDI theatre in Tilburg, Holland.
