For some reason, that very headline makes me cringe.
I can’t believe Chris Cornell had a fucking maid. I mean, I know dude’s rich, and maybe I’m just super independent and like cleaning my own shit, but it seems an unneeded expense. A luxury he probably didn’t even want. Good for him and all, it just changed my view of the man slightly.
Still, TMZ is reporting that the Soundgarden frontman and his sexy wife Vicky are being sued by their ex-maid.
The lawsuit claims the maid left the Cornell resident the day after last Christmas.
She thought she was merely done for the day.
“Vicky apparently felt otherwise and asked the maid to return,” reports TMZ. When the maid refused, Vicky allegedly responded by screaming a series of insults and then firing her.
Damn. Freak much?
The suit claims the maid was forced by the Cornell’s to work 43 hours a week and never received overtime. Beat.
She also says that her 30-minute lunches were always interrupted, as were her 10-minute breaks.
Soundgarden has a new album coming out real soon.
