Clinging To The Trees Of A Forest Fire Split Coming In September

Sweet

If you’re not down with Denver’s Clinging To The Trees of a Forest Fire, I might have to question your taste, dude.

They’re phat as hell — blackened, sludgy grindcore that’ll leave you wanting a shower. It’s that filthy, dude. And next month, four new songs from Clinging will be coming.

Clinging To The Trees of a Forest Fire will issue a split with French metal dudes Nesseria.

If you’d like to hear a sampling from the forthcoming effort, which features four new songs from both bands, head here. I also think you can download some of the tunes, but I’m not sure.

The split is being released by Throatruiner Records. From what I’ve heard, it’s going to be well worth owning. But that’s not an official endorsement. I urge you to be a smart consumer, and be their best customer, and listen to that shit first.
