Oh, that wacky Slipknot percussionist M. Shawn Crahan, also — or perhaps better — known as Clown.
He has once again jumped on Facebook to clarify statements he made recently about the future of Slipknot.
“Again, Slipknot will be touring next summer in America,” says the Clown. “No other countries as of yet and yes the whole band will be there.”
That’s good. Can’t really do a show without the whole band, can you? I wonder if there have been rumors of someone not participating. Someone like Corey Taylor. I’m sure that’s why he made that weird reference.
“No new album is planned as of yet and no new songs have been written, but I am sure on a[n] individual basis that people are writing songs to bring to the band, but the band needs more time to get together and write songs together,” he adds. “Have no fear. Just be ready. Things can change any second!”
Yes, they can. They can, indeed. Once the right amount of money’s offered, anything can change. Just ask the platypus.
