Coheed And Cambria Announce 10th Anniversary Gigs

Coheed and Cambria

Today, Coheed and Cambria — who are not a metal band, but are loved by prog-minded metalheads…(and that song “Welcome Home” was kinda metal) — revealed plans for their upcoming tour, during which they’ll perform their debut album, The Second Stage Turbine Blade, in its entirety.

The tour will hit 22 cities in the U.S. and Toronto. Sci-fi dorks all across the country just high-fived their invisible friends and giggled gleefully. All of the “An Evening With” gigs will boast a “rare” 30 to 40 minute acoustic set, as well as an extra set of songs from the band’s other albums.

We have those dates after the jump. The tour, which kicks off in Kansas City, Missouri, on April 8, will commemorate the band’s 10th year together. Dope. Coheed and Cambria…so they’re still doing stuff, huh?
