Commercial Surfaces For Nirvana’s In Utero

In Utero

Wanna feel old?

This fall, Nirvana’s In Utero turns 20.

If you were alive and purchased it the day it came out (as I did), then you no doubt wanna commit suicide right now, because at this point, you’ve stopped counting the grays.

At the end of this post, find a rare commercial for Nirvana’s third and final opus, In Utero, featuring the comedy stylings of Bobcat Goldthwait.

The clip is kind of gross, and was made to resemble an old-fashioned TV ad.

Bobcat, dressed as a lady, plays a “militant” birthing instructor who supervises as pregnant versions of Kurt Cobain, Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl all launch plastic baby dolls from their manginas.

A 20th anniversary reissue of the album is in the works.
