Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor must’ve been crazy hot inside that ridiculous jumpsuit and mask because Tuesday, he passed the fuck out at the end of the band’s final song.
This happened during the Dallas stop on the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival.
There is video at the end of this post of him passing out. Well, that’s not true. It’s mostly video of the band’s closing tune, and then Joey Jordison tossing drumsticks into the crowd. THEN, we get to see security guards rushing to Corey’s side.
Taylor Tweeted yesterday that he was OK.
“I’m fine — just overheated in Dallas last night. Ready and waiting for Houston! Thank you to everyone for your concerns!”
You’re welcome, dude.
Meanwhile, we have also learned that Slipknot’s closing set at the inaugural Knotfest will be available as a pay-per-view special. The “Slipknot Live At Knotfest” event from Somerset, Wisconsin is the result of a partnership with Todocast and Event View Live.
“One of our long-time dreams, is finally coming to fruition with the creation of Knotfest,” says M. Shawn Crahan (a.k.a. Clown). “Our goal was to create a festival experience which screamed our vision. It means everything for everyone to see the live spectacle we’re creating in the flesh, but we understand some fans around the world can’t be at the show. We’ve now made it possible for you to be there in spirit — so join us live on August 18th.”
The “Slipknot Live At Knotfest” event can be accessed from any Internet device for fucking $14.95; that’s the price for early bird fans, and is available now.
The week before the event, the price will be jacked up to $19.95.
Wait…don’t forget to not watch Taylor faint on stage.
