Cradle of Filth have been banned in China. I wish other governments would follow suit.
“Unfortunately, at this time, the cultural section of the Chinese government have decided that Cradle of Filth are unsuitable to play in mainland China and so we are currently banned from playing there,” the band boasted online.
“Therefore, the show on Tuesday 30 April in Shang Hai, China at MAO Live House has had to be moved to Hong Kong. The new venue is Kowloonbay International Trade & Exhibition Centre (KITEC) in Hong Kong on April 30. Hope to see you there!”
I’ll be here, in America.
I do feel bad for Cradle’s Chinese fans, though. I bet they don’t get many opportunities to see such bands. But that could be just me being misinformed.
A thousand pardons in advance for any offense.
