Crosses, Coheed And Cambria On “Batman: Arkham City” Video Game Soundtrack

Coheed and Cambria

Deftones frontman Chino Moreno’s side project Crosses and Coheed and Cambria are among the strange array of bands that’ll be featured on the forthcoming soundtrack for the forthcoming video game “Batman: Arkham City.”

There will be an actual CD released in conjunction with the game, so not only will you get sick of these songs from the game, you can get sick of them in your car.

The Damned Things, AFI side project Blaqk Audio, and System of a Down frontman Serj Tankian also contributed tracks to the CD and video game, which will be in stores October 4 and October 18, respectively.

According to ThePRP, all of the bands on the album “approached their contributions to the album with their own unique interpretations of the stories surrounding Batman.”

Other bands of note on the disc include Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, A Place To Bury Strangers, The Raveonettes, and that Daughtry dude.

By the way, this whole shift to humorous commentary on ThePRP…it’s starting to bother me. Maybe my sense of humor’s just different, but dude, seriously — it’s not working.
