More than ten people were killed because of the storm. But I never lost power, and my windows didn’t come remotely close to smashing. So, Irene — compared to Hugo and Floyd, you were just a pain in the ass.
In fact, to be quite honest, I slept through that bitch. I woke up once…when I started hearing a new drip, and put a bucket under that bitch. But I actually slept like a baby, with CNN on all night. Anyways, now life must go on, and so must this blog. Otherwise, the terrorists win.
The incomparable Glenn Danzig will be release a greatest-hits compilation called The Essential Danzig, on October 25. Sony Legacy does this will all their acts eventually. My opinion is, if that collection has no Misfits on it, it’s not the essential Glenn.
Danzig will play several shows in October as “Danzig Legacy,” performing songs spanning his entire career, including his years with the Misfits and Samhain.
According to Blabbermouth, a “Danzig Legacy” TV special is being filmed in Los Angeles this summer and is being directed by Mark Brooks (Adult Swim’s “Metalocalypse”). Further information will be released shortly.
