Our buddies in i invent, a progressive metal band from Beantown, have self-released a debut EP, and without a crowd-funding campaign. Imagine that!
The effort, called chasm i, consists of four tracks recorded by Pathogenic drummer Anthony Lusk-Simone.

A concept piece, it is the first in a planned trilogy of releases showcasing the forward-thinking and diverse songwriting of this new collective of musician, which formed in October of 2012.
i invent features veterans of the New England music scene who have spent time on the road in such acts as Anomia, Battleships, and Widow Sunday.
The album features a guest performance from original vocalist and Footage of a Yeti bassist Jesse Heimowitz.
