There’s a band calls Sol Invicto and they’re planning to hit a recording studio this February, if you can imagine that.
The band is the underground side project of the Deftones own Stephen Carpenter.
Eric Bobo of Cypress Hill fame is also in the group, and producer Richie Londres.
It seems the band’s gathered enough material for a full-length album, which they will start committing to tape in less than two months.
“Work on Sol Invicto DEBUT ALBUM has begun,” says the band.
“Initium III will be released shortly too, and we have other demos to drop on the way. Myself, Dan, AJ, Stephen and Bobo will be in the studio in February, any excuse to get out of London. Hope your Christmas went swimmingly, Richie.”
