Derek Kerswill Backs Out Of Mayhem Tour

Derek Kerswill

I hope all is OK with Derek Kerswill because he’s a stellar dude. Salt of the Earth type. But something is going on and it sounds serious.

According to Derek Kerswill’s Facebook page, he will not be playing drums this summer on the RockStar Mayhem Tour; he was to play with Kingdom of Sorrow.

“Due to some personal issues and family commitments, I will be unable to do the RockStar Mayhem Tour with Kingdom of Sorrow as initially announced,” his statement reads. “Kanky, of Straight Line Stitch, will be hopping in last minute to help out. I apologize to anyone and everyone that was coming out to support me and the band. Kingdom of Sorrow will carry on and PLEASE go see them on this year’s Mayhem Festival.”

In a statement to Gun Shy Assassin, Derek said, “Go easy on me with the announcement that I’m bailing on Mayhem. Got some personal stuff going on, cool?”

Look at that…we’ve got them shaking in their boots!

We cool dude. Why would we give you a hard time? You’ve got something personal going on. No need to explain, bro. We hope all is OK, and that you get through whatever this is and come out stronger, wiser, and cooler.
