Device Back Out Of European Tour

And it’s because David Draiman is a xenophobe who thinks Europe’s a useless land mass inhabited by vikings and bon vivants.

I just made that up.

The real reason Device ain’t hopping the pond to support Avenged Sevenfold and Five Finger Death Punch on their upcoming Euro treak is he’s having too much fun being a new dad.

Draiman revealed to fans that he had made the decision so that he could spend more time at home with his wife and newborn son, which popped out less than a month ago.

“After careful consideration, I’ve decided to stay at home where I am needed most right now, with my family and newborn son, and not support Avenged Sevenfold with Device on their current November-December run,” says Draiman.

I feel bad for you, Europe. Device isn’t coming. Oh no!

“I want to thank my brothers in Avenged Sevenfold for the opportunity, for their friendship, and their understanding, and I look forward to seeing all of you again sometime in the future.”
