Why, that isn’t very nice of DevilDriver, now is it?
Seems everyone is replaceable in that useless, non-redeeming butthole of a band DevilDriver, ‘cept good ol’ Dez Fartfarta.
I mean, Farfara. Hate when that happens.
I’m sorry. I’m not going to lie. Dez looks like the kind of guy who’s constantly crop-dusting.
He walks down the street beefing it, and people downwind just suffer in silence, unaware of their assailant.
So, yeah, guitarist Jeff Kendrick and drummer John Boecklin…they’re out of the ‘Driver.
“What a blast Knotfest was. No better way to end the Winter Kills cycle,” says DevilDriver in a statement.
“With the end of this cycle comes some other endings. John Boecklin, Jeff Kendrick and DevilDriver have parted ways. Nothing dramatic, no drag down fights, just time to move on.”
We’ll find out what really happened months from now. When these two can’t stand being silent any more.
“As I have said previously, DevilDriver is on hiatus while I rejoin Coal Chamber for a new record release and tour,” says the statement, obviously written by the Dezmaster.
“DevilDriver will be back, make no mistake of that, in 2016 with a new record which we are already writing, tours around the world and the massive pits you have all gotten used to. All in DevilDriver wish John and Jeff the best.”
Kinda wish they’d just stay on hiatus. Although, I know a lot of you on Facebook will argue you prefer DD to Coal Chamber any day.
