We won’t be attending, but GSA is, in fact, one of the sponsors of Devilstone Open Air 2013, an extreme music festival happening this July in Lithuania.
We saw the poster for the event, and had to be involved.
The festival will boast a bunch of solid bands, including Enslaved, Kadavar, Tides From Nebula, Koldbrann, Avulsed, Wolf, Kongh, Samsara Blues Experiment, La Chudra, Exile Into Suffery, Angelus Apatrida, Confession, Argharus, Stoned Jesus, Vomitory, and Orange Goblin.
Devilstone Open Air is a unique summer festival of extreme metal music and delirious rock ‘n’ roll spirit. Now in its fifth year in Anykščiai, Lithuania, “Devilstone Open Air promotes diversity across the genres and geographical origins satisfying both the sophisticated music experts and curious youngsters seeking new experiences,” according to a press release.
If you live on the same continent, you should totally go. Just hop the train to Lithuania. I live an ocean away. That’s my excuse for not going. Although, if I start rowing now…
The festival will also boast workshops, classes, film screenings, soccer matches, “nocturnal dancing fiestas,” and other attractions.
Devilstone Open Air goes down July 11 through July 14.
