I only ask because they’re doing the whole deluxe re-issue thing with their debut LP The Way of the Fist. The “Iron Fist” edition of the record will be available starting November 23. I think Roadrunner should sue Five Finger, or at least give them a finger of their own. That’s totally their move…to re-release albums with a bunch of bonus shit.
By the way, a disclaimer: I am not a Five Finger fan, as such. I happen to like Zoltan Bathory because he’s a nice guy. That said, I could never be a fan of this band because I would never be comfortable with the term knucklehead. That’s what the band calls its fans: knuckleheads. I get it, but that’s just douchey.
The expanded LP will actually be a box set, somehow. It will feature “the original 13 album tracks with all-new artwork, a brand new in-depth documentary DVD, ‘The Legend of The Fist Vol. 1,’ (featuring never-before seen footage and interviews spanning Five Finger’s career), a bonus CD with 11 B-sides and rarities, Five Finger Death Punch trading cards and an exclusive poster and calendar,” according to a press release.
Phat. Of course, the band’s gotta have something to sell the fans, seeing as they’re hitting the road with Godsmack this fall. Phat.
