How anti-climactic was that?
For four days, we waited while long-running symphonic black metallers Dimmu Borgir to slowly unveil the artwork and title of their forthcoming album, and the big reveal is finally over. As I predicted, the cover features some strange head with wires poking out of it. The name of the disc — get this — is Abrahadabra. Oh wait, I see what they did there. Is it too early to call the winner for worst album title of the year?
The disc will be out on October 12. According to a press release, the title translates to “I will create as I speak,” and the phrase first appeared in some ancient book Indiana Jones found in 1920 or some shit.
Dimmu’s Shagrath calls the disc a “beast.” I think he’s referring to Milwaukee’s Best, that cheap-ass beer you drank in college that always gave you mud shits the day after.
