Doro Pesch Also Lost Her House To Hurricane Irene

Doro

Poor Doro Pesch.

I feel bad for her. I truly do. For the last week, I have been out there, amid the wreckage wrought by Hurricane Irene, and I have seen some of the worst devastation I’ve ever come across. It is traumatic to lose anything to a storm, but to lose your home is something you don’t really recover from.

Pesch flew to Long Island from Düsseldorf to her home in Long Beach yesterday morning, and her abode was a mess.

“The damage is disastrous,” Doro says in a statement. “The whole ground floor was flooded. It stinks, electricity failed and everything’s wrecked inside of the house. From the TV to the fridge to the furniture. Everything’s grime-stained, defective, unusable.”

Doro continues, “The worst thing is that pieces of my stage costumes and lots of my souvenirs and presents from fans from all around the world are lost forever now.”

She said she watched “Irene on TV when I visited my mother in Germany on the weekend. When a red rubber raft appeared canoeing through a road on Long Island, I already assumed the worst.”

We’re so sorry, Doro. Our heart truly goes out to you. We understand you’re staying in a hotel, but if you need a place to crash, the Gun Shy Assassin compound is just one tunnel away from New York City.

While working at MTV News, I had the opportunity to interview Doro in person for MTV Radio, and let me tell you — she is a cougar. I remember thinking the entire time how hot she was, and that this was the first time I was actually down to violate an older woman. She’s smokin’ and boasts some dope ass jugs. Too bad I can’t stand her music.
