Down Finish Demoing Tunes For Next EP

Pepper Keenan

That’s right, people.

Down guitarist Peeper Keenan this week called into the Metal Hammer Magazine radio show and did them no favors as far as Kirk Windstein’s concerned.

He mad no mention of dude’s decision to jump ship.

He did, however, talk about the band’s forthcoming EP.

Keenan says the group have finished demoing six songs for the outing.

They’ll start tracking drums for it this October 7, he says.

He says the EP is a “slight continuation” of the band’s previously released EP and that it has a “super heavy vibe.”

I’d hope so.

Keenan also announced that the band will be headlining August 8 date of the Bloodstock Open Air festival in Derbyshire, United Kingdom, in 2014.

So, there’s that.
