The “Metal Masters 3″ event rocked the Key Club in Hollywood, California, last night and featured a number of your heroes on one stage, kicking shit like it was ’84.
The one and only Phil Anselmo — who some douchebag who routinely monitors this site thinks I hate — of Down (and of course, formerly of Pantera) was the main attraction.
Two members of Anthrax joined Anselmo — Charlie Benante and Frank Bello — along with two members of Slayer — Dave Lombardo and Kerry King.
Adrenaline Mob’s Mike Portnoy was also one of the featured players last night, with Megadeth’s David Ellefson and Chris Broderick, formerly of Megadeth.
Then, Black Sabbath’s Geezer Butler joined the fun for a cover of Black Sabbath’s “Hole In The Sky.”
