Maryland extreme metal monsters Dying Fetus have named their next album.
They’ve bestowed it with the title Reign Supreme, which is what Dying Fetus do, and will do on their upcoming tour.
The album will be out in the spring through Relapse Records.
The CD is being recorded at Wrightway Studios in Baltimore with longtime producer Steve Wright (who has worked with Misery Index and Slipknot).
The effort will feature nine tracks and is “a ‘return to roots,’ with production focused slightly more on slam than in the band’s last few works,” according to a press release.
“Thematically, the album is set to be a good old-fashioned piece of social and political commentary in the style of Dying Fetus as we have come to know,” the release says.
And I say, “Fuck yeah, dude. New Dying Fetus. Sign me the fuck up. Seriously. Is there a list? Sign me up for this fucker. Take it down. Harris. Two ‘R’s.”
