Emperor: No New Album, No World Tour

Emperor

Fuck and fuck.

Norwegian black metal act Emperor will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their In The Nightside Eclipse album at next year’s Wacken Open Air festival, set to take place July 31 through August 2, 2014, in Wacken, Germany.

Ihsahn (real name: Vegard Sverre Tveitan) and Samoth (real name: Tomas Haugen) will be joined by Bård Guldvik “Faust” Eithun on drums, and they will perform the CD in its entirety.

Dopeness.

Sadly, there will be no new studio album.

There also won’t be a worldwide tour.

Bummer.

The band will, however, be playing more than the one festival.

Other appearances are in the works, and one better be at Maryland Deathfest.
