This is some sweet ass news to be able to report.
A dozen artists will be inducted soon into the newly-formed Swedish Music Hall of Fame, and one of them will be Entombed.
Artists were chosen because, organizers claim, they all made “lasting contributions to Swedish music.”
Three people selected the inductees, including music journalist Jan Gradvall.
“We want to act a bit like teachers, and demonstrate the history and significance of Swedish music,” he said. “We want to build bridges between genres and generations and give Swedish music the place it deserves.”
ABBA, Roxette, and Ebba Grön were among the other nominees.
The band recently split off into two factions, which is mildly confusing.
