Congrats to Epica keyboardist Coen Janssen! He and his wife Linda are first-time parents following the January 28 birth of their first child, a daughter, Cato Dianne.
“We are the luckiest people in the world right now,” commented Janssen. “It is the most incredible feeling there is to have a baby and to hold her in your arms for the first time!”
I can’t even imagine. I feel like I’m the only dude my age who doesn’t have a kid yet. I’d like one someday…before I start developing cataracts.
”I really want to thank all the fans for their kind words and wishes for Cato; it means the world to us!”
Not sure why you’d name a kid after O.J.’s mooch of a house guest, but to each his own.
Janssen is taking a break from the band to be with his new family. Meanwhile, Kamelot keyboardist Oliver Palotai — who gets to plow the sex fields of Epica ginger singer Simone Simons — is filling in for Janssen during Epica’s upcoming touring commitments.
