OK, now I can get a tattoo because now, I finally know what to get: The cover of the Exeloume album, across the length of my entire back.
This way, I can walk along the beach and just disturb the fuck out of people…and not because I have A cups and a gnarly stomach scar from that gang initiation I was the subject of back in the day. I mean, look at that album cover! It reminds me of old skool metal album covers. Provocative is an understatement. LOOK AT THAT FUCKING ALBUM COVER! It’s awesome and horrific and amusing…all at the same time. Sort of like a topless Iggy Pop.
I had a dream once that looked just like this. That was before I had hair on my satchel, though. The Norwegian death thrashers have inked a deal with the Swedish label ViciSolum Productions; it is the label’s first non-Swedish signing. Their debut — Fairytale Of Perversion — will be released on May 13.
The disc was produced by Rune Stavnesli (who has worked with Keep of Kalessin) and mixed and mastered by Dan Swanö, of Edge of Sanity fame. Swanö also makes a guest vocal contribution to the album’s last track, “Our Poisonous Creation.”
