That’s right, folks.
Rotund Faith No More bassist Billy Gould has dispelled reports that the reunited hard rock icons will perform all of the songs from their 1989 album The Real Thing when they play the Maquinaria Festival in Santiago, Chile, on November 12.
As cool as that would be, I’d be a pissed off Chilean if I went all the way to see Faith No More and they didn’t play anything off of Angel Dust or King For A Day, Fool For A Lifetime. PISSED!
Gould writes on Twitter: “News Flash: Contrary to popular belief, we will not be playing The Real Thing in its entirety in Chile.”
Short, sweet, and to the point. I like this Billy Gould. Good egg, that Billy Gould.
I’m still holding out for new Faith No More tunes. How do you rehearse together and not, at some point, bring that up? There has to be some new riffs on your minds, some new grooves…what do you say, Faith No More? Do the world a fucking favor, would ya?
