Fear Factory Unveil New Album’s Cover

The Industrialist

And that’s it.

I still haven’t heard the music yet, but the cover and name of the new Fear Factory are both kind of boring.

I am struggling just to get through the writing of this post.

That Fear Factory cover looks like something Winds of Plague would reject for their album cover.

The Industrialist comes out June 5, and is a conceptual piece based around a story written by vocalist Burton C. Bell.

“The protagonist (The Industrialist) is the incarnation of all industries in the form of an automaton,” says Bell.

“The mechanical, technological, and scientific advances through the industrial age led to the creation of The Industrialist. In the story, the automaton becomes sentient as it collects memories with each passing day. Through observation and learning, it gains the will to exist. What was meant to help man, will eventually be man’s demise.”

The album will feature 10 songs, including “Recharger,” “New Messiah,” “God Eater,” Depraved Mind Murder,” “Virus of Faith,” “Difference Engine,” “Dissemble,” “Religion is Flawed Because Man is Flawed,” and “Human Augmentation.”
