Yes, I am the only person on the planet who still uses the term “Audi 5000.” If you have a problem with that, then go somewhere else for your metal news and commentary. I make no excuses for my use of that phrase. You knew what it meant, didn’t you? If you didn’t, you were sperm and eggs when I lost my virginity.
Anyways, some Canadian dude interviewed Five Finger Death Punch guitarist Jason Hook this afternoon, and Jason did his best to dodge a very difficult question: Is bassist Matt Snell out of the band? Thanks to Blabbermouth, I now know Jason would rather talk about music. After the jump, you can hear his audio response, which is priceless.
And now, for the best confirmation you will ever get from a band dude in addition to the worst: “At this time, we’re… I mean, there is something going on in regards to that, but I would rather keep my mouth shut so that I don’t get myself in trouble.”
Just press play and listen to it. He starts, then he stops before saying something completely confirming it, and then says he doesn’t want to get in trouble. Well, he’s in trouble. Enough aboot that for now.
