Former Arch Enemy Guitarist Issuing Solo LP

Impulses

You bet your sweet bippie he is.

Former Arch Enemy axeman Christopher Amott will release Impulses, his new solo album, before the end of the summer.

That there’s the artwork for it. I’d put that shit in a frame and hang it in my rumpus room, as art.

“There’s been a few delays, but that’s what happens when you strive for perfection,” says Amott. “Can’t wait to release this one — I am really pleased.”

Amott left Arch Enemy in March to pursue his solo career.

“I’m gonna continue to be very active in music, working with all kinds of styles — this does not rule out metal,” he said in a statement issued at the time.

The band recruited 26-year-old Arsis guitarist Nick Cordle to replace him.
