Former Arch Enemy axeman Christopher Amott will release Impulses, his new solo album, before the end of the summer.

“There’s been a few delays, but that’s what happens when you strive for perfection,” says Amott. “Can’t wait to release this one — I am really pleased.”
Amott left Arch Enemy in March to pursue his solo career.

The band recruited 26-year-old Arsis guitarist Nick Cordle to replace him.
