Former Coheed And Cambria Bassist Formally Indicted

Michael Todd in court

Yep — he’s probably going to jail, too.

The Sun Chronicle reports that Michael Todd, Coheed and Cambria’s former bassist, has been formally indicted by a Bristol County grand jury for allegedly robbing painkillers from a local pharmacy, hours before his band was to open Soundgarden’s concert in Mansfield, Massachusetts.

Todd, 30, faces charges of armed robbery and possession of narcotic painkillers related to his alleged holdup of a Walgreens in Attleboro, Massachusetts. He will be arraigned on September 8 in Fall River Superior Court said Gregg Miliote, a spokesman for Bristol County District Attorney Sam Sutter.

Todd was arrested for armed robbery July 10, after he allegedly walked into the Walgreens and threatened to blow up the store with what was an apparent fake bomb unless he was given OxyContin. Todd made off with six bottles of the hillbilly heroine before police tracked the cab he escaped in.

Coheed and Cambria dumped Todd last week.
