Nick Augusto was kicked out of Trivium halfway through one of the band’s tours.
What an insult!
Augusto did not take the slap in the face to heart. Instead, he started working on new music back in Florida.
Now, he’s formally announced his new band, which is called Corrosion.
That won’t be at all confusing for people who dig Corrosion of Conformity. Not one bit.
The band boasts Before The Mourning’s Christopher Cussell as well as Insense vocalist and guitarist Tommy Hjelm with Insense’s Martin Rygge rounding things out.
Corrosion has recorded its debut EP with producer Jason Suecof, which means it’s probably awesome.
The first track from the effort is expected to surface online soon.
