Yet another release is coming from Fucked Up, a band that has issued some 80 recordings and collaborations since 2001.

Year of the Hare is the latest installment in the band’s Zodiac-themed releases.

Over a two year period, it was recorded and constructed at Electrical Audio, Key Club Studios, and Candle Studios.

The title track runs 21 minutes and frantically mixes traditional instrumentation, with pianos, synths, flutes and sax, experimental editing and soundscapes, and guest vocals from Isla Craig.

The EP’s B-side “California Cold” is shorter, at just over eight-and-a-half minutes.

Year of the Hare will be released on June 16 on Deathwish Inc.
