Get ready for Papa Emeritus III!
As hinted nearly a year ago, Ghost have “fired” Papa Emeritus II and enlisted a new singer, according to Sweden Rock Magazine.
The band’s third album and first with Papa Emeritus III will be released in late summer or early fall of this year.
The follow-up to 2013’s Infestissumam was produced by Klas Åhlund.
Who, you ask? He’s in a band called Teddybears, and has written songs for the likes of Katy Perry, Madonna and Britney Spears.
That is not a good omen.
Some of the songs that will be on the album include “He Is,” “Cirice,” “From The Pinnacle To The Pit,” “Majesty” and “Devil Church,” naturally.
A new Ghost single will surface this spring, the mag reports.
The new singer, Papa Emeritus III, is the three-month-younger brother of Ghost’s previous frontman, Papa Emeritus II, according to the article.
