Gloom Exclusive Song Stream: “Entity”

D.C. metal band offers up track from debut EP

I feel like by now, if you don’t know who Gloom are, you haven’t been paying attention to the blog.

We ran a podcast with the band’s singer, Bill Calomiris, who then told you about three books you should be reading. Assuming you read. Maybe you just come to this blog for the pretty pictures.

Regardless, Gloom are a D.C.-based band who kick major fucking ass. I mean, it’s just that simple.

They’re awesome, and their self-titled EP is an exciting amalgam of all metal styles, offering up something for everyone to appreciate.

Just don’t confuse Gloom for the Japanese crust punks of the same name. OK? Don’t be that guy. No one wants to talk to that guy.

Today, we bring you can exclusive song stream from Gloom’s EP — a track called “Entity.”

If you don’t like the following song, I feel bad for you and your offspring.

Gloom’s EP is set for release June 24, and was produced by Marshall Wieczorek, drummer for Wretched.

That pimptastic cover art was created by Steven Mercado.
