Graf Orlock Exclusive Song Stream: “Predator Main Theme”

Graf Orlock

Head to the end of this post to hear awesome.

Today, Gun Shy Assassin premieres a new song from the soundtrack to Andrew Bonazelli’s newest novel “DTV” (or Direct-to-Video).

The soundtrack features the likes of The Atlas Moth, Wolvhammer, TFD, and Early Graves. We are premiering a Graf Orlock track: “Predator Main Theme.”

According to a press release, “DTV” is a super-cool fusion of literary prowess and action-movie bravado, and though fully aware of the inherent, unintentional comedy found in the genre, Bonazelli has avoided the tongue-in-cheek route, instead crafting a story that celebrates the machismo, animal magnetism and culture of American action movies from the ‘80s and ‘90s.

The novel itself is a brilliantly fun and poignant read, and could do for action movies what the nouvelle vague did for Hitchcock and Orson Welles.

That’s cool: A soundtrack to a book. Here is Graf Orlock’s contribution. Let us know what you think of it.

Also, don’t forget that we are giving away a vinyl copy of the Graf Orlock’s forthcoming EP. The copy we’re giving away actually has real bullet holes, shot into the cover by the band.

The EP is called Los Angeles and is slated for release April 10.
