Today’s a good day, people.
Look outside. If you’re in the New York City area, you know today’s just beautiful. Nothing but sun, with a nice cool breeze to keep you refreshed.
Let’s darken those skies though just a little bit with some truly progressive heavy metal — Grey Skies Fallen.
The band’s from the New York City region, and will soon unleash its sixth album, The Many Sides of Truth.
It is perhaps the most complete album I have heard in a long fucking while.
There’s literally something for everyone on this highly diverse metal record; I mean, there’s cello and viola, people.
I am telling you, what follows is a seriously satisfying listen. And well, I am glad to be able to share it with you in its entirety, exclusively.
This is the fourth collection of tunes the band has recorded with Keith Moore at his Audio Playground studio in Patchogue, New York — not far from where I was raised.
Sit back and enjoy The Many Sides of Truth, and just try to tell me it wasn’t well worth the time.
