By now, you should know the drill. We’ve been having musicians from across metal’s grand spectrum pen brief guest columns for us on a number of engaging topics: must-read books, must-see films, and bands you may not know but absolutely should.

Today’s column comes from Michael Lawson of Jupiter Zeus.

Non-Intentional Lifeform
From Perth, Australia; they where signed to Roadrunner in the ’90s, released an EP and an album, then split up. Just about every style of music blended together and played at a ferocious pace and with jaw-dropping intensity.

Wovenhand
Not loud or heavy in the slightest but ridiculously intense. Totally awesome and completely unique.

Zeke
Absolutely flat-out, no-frills punk thrash; I think they from Seattle? Kinda like Motörhead on steroids played 100 times faster. Check out “Roller” and “The Hammer.” Will definitely put a smile on your face.
