Guest Column: Three Bands You May Not Know But Should By NervoChaos

Thrash, black metal, and death metal grace this list of bands to check out

By now, you should know the drill. We’ve been having musicians from across metal’s grand spectrum pen brief guest columns for us on a number of engaging topics: must-read books, must-see films, and bands you may not know but absolutely should.

Today’s column was written by the members of Brazil’s NervoChaos, who are signed to Grey Haze.

Ratos De Porão
Brazilian crossover thrash/hardcore punk band from Sao Paulo, Brazil. Formed in 1981, they still continue to play today. This is an extremely underrated band but one of the best in the genre worldwide.

A Colombian death metal band formed in 1988, they still continue to play today. They have released five studio albums and four mini LPs. This band kicks some major ass and is still extremely underrated.

The first U.S. black metal band, Von formed in 1987. They’ve released two albums and are a major influences to several black metal acts worldwide.
