The weekend is almost here; did you think we’d let you head into the long holiday without a new podcast to listen to?
Shame on you.
Admittedly, I am torn about this week’s podcast. It boasts an interview with Mitch Harris, the guitarist from Napalm Death. We spoke about the new album the band’s working on, as well as Harris’ other project, Menace.
The Menace album was released in March and is fucking awesome, if you want my opinion. It’s not super aggro, but more progressive in nature than Napalm.
Problem is, our connection was rather shoddy, so at times, you’re really going to have to pay close attention if you’re going to catch what Mitch is saying.
He revealed that, along with Chris Adler of Lamb of God, Cynic’s Paul Masvidal, Obituary’s Frank Watkins, and System of a Down’s Shavo Odadjian — he’ll be participating in Randy Herrera’s Rogue project.
You’ll know more about Rogue when the former Fear Factory member launches a crowdfunding campaign around it June 1.
Again, apologies for the choppy audio. It could not have been helped.
Before the chat with Mitch, there’s a rundown of the week’s top news stories, including my reaction to Tim Lambesis’ light sentence.
All of this is set to a soundtrack featuring the likes of Nightbitch, Saint Vitus, Tombs, Satanic Bloodspraying, Trap Them, and of course, Menace.
