The Disastercast

Today, we debut the 20th episode of our podcast, which we’ve affectionately titled The Disastercast. Why? Usually, it’s a shambles. The host is usually drunk and there’s no special guest to speak of.

But today’s podcast may just be the best one yet, boasting an interview with Dave Silver from Savage Messiah, who have a new album called The Fateful Dark due out on March 18.

We spoke to Dave about the band’s style, his influences (Iron Maiden and early Metallica, definitely high on that list), Gandhi, Judge Dredd, and even the reaction his countrymen had to the whole Lostprophets nightmare.

All the while, we’ve got a soundtrack provided by the likes of Lurker of Chalice, Never To Arise, Fucking Invincible, The Empire Shall Fall, Taake, and Vorum.

And of course, there’s the news wrap-up, too. I do say, though, that this is the best podcast we’ve released thus far. If you’ve never listened before, good. Don’t. Just listen to this one, and we’ll be straight.
