Another week, another installment of the Disastercast.
This week’s episode, I’m in rare form. Let’s just say that there’s a story of frustration behind Monday’s premiere of a Devin Townsend Project video, and I needed to vent a little.
Also this week, we’ve got an interview with Paul Allender.
Paul used to be in Cradle of Filth, but wised up, left the band, and started his own thing: White Empress.
The group’s album Rise of the Empress is in stores now.
It’s a good chat, our talk with Paul. He’s a solid dude. Even if his old band has weakened substantially. As you will hear, Paul’s happier with White Empress, and feels more fulfilled, creatively.
There’s a brief breakdown of the news, too, all set to a soundtrack that includes Burst, Anaal Nathrakh, Devourment, Orbweaver, Pig Destroyer, and of course, White Empress.
Take a listen. What do you got to lose?
