Gwar Covers The Pet Shop Boys

“West End Girls” has never sounded like this before

A band that looks like it could be Gwar covered the Pet Shop Boys’ “West End Girls” for the A.V. Club, as part of their Undercover Series.

Gwar’s done this twice before for the site.

They previously took on the Kansas classic “Carry on Wayward Son” and Billy Ocean’s “Get Out of My Dreams, Get Into My Car.”

This third time features a new version of Gwar.

It features new Scumdog warriors Blóthar and Vulvatron, who take over for the late Dave Brockie.

I gotta say it…I don’t like Gwar anymore. It ain’t the same, and they need to stop pretending it is.
