The popular WhatsApp is successfully working for mobile phones and is widely accepted among masses. Recently WhatsApp introduced desktop client for Windows that enables Windows users to use WhatsApp directly from their computers. Mac was not provided with the same option and users almost felt left out as iMessage and other famous messaging apps have client for Mac but WhatsApp did not.
There is a unique app available at GitHub that can work as replacement of WhatsApp. This exclusive app is named WhatsMac, which will bring your WhatsApp right on your Mac. WhatsMac, in appearance, look and feel like iMessage and supports all the media sending and random texting as well.
WhatsMac is generally a cover of WhatsApp featuring WhatsApp Web Client interface. You just need to have your WhatsApp synched with your phone to work perfectly on your Mac. WhatsMac is a good option if you use your WhatsApp for heavy messaging and also spend quite much time on your Mac. WhatsMac will do the purpose until an official web client is introduced for Mac OS X.
You need to keep a note of it that no iPhone support will be provided for it though and that could be a drawback for WhatsMac users. Most probably the users then have to wait for any official client and ever since WhatsApp was bought by Facebook, it has become blurry as when it will be introduced, since we do not have a Facebook desktop client for Mac as well.
You can download WhatsMac from GitHub and it is free of cost.
