Ill Niño are one of those bands whose sound I just don’t dig. They’re also…what’s the word?…cheesy.
They’re just cheesy. And for a while there, we hadn’t heard from Ill Niño so I thought the world was rid of them. But no.
Ill Niño will release Epidemia — their sixth full-length album — on October 22 through Victory Records.
The recording sessions for the CD took place in Hoboken, New Jersey; Austin, Texas; and Denver, Colorado…because that matters.
“This time around, we want to explore Latin and tribal rhythms we have never explored in the past five releases, giving us no musical boundaries at all,” says drummer Dave Chavarri.
Sounds like it’s going to be totally annoying, bra. Can’t wait.
