Swedish progressive death metal outfit In Mourning have signed a new deal with Spinefarm Records.
Progressive death metal is the thing to do these days, people. Or so I am told. I have been told that’s the next wave. But the guy who told me that I’ve nicknamed “King Schmuck” so, take that for what it’s fucking worth.
The band’s third full-length album, The Weight Of Oceans, will be released next year. Which is basically a month away. Man, how time flies.
In Mourning’s last CD, Monolith, was released in January 2010 on Pulverised Records.
You know what I’m in mourning over? The fact that Kate Upton continues to evade my sexual advances.
I am also mourning the fact that I have a lot of work to do, but not enough time or brain cells to do it. So on that note, I’m off to do some more writing as the rain patters my windowpane gently.
It’s raining in New York City, which I both love and hate. It’s a double-edged sword. It rules, yet, it is annoying as hell. The good news is, my car is getting a much-needed wash. Parked under a tree last night which, I’m guessing, doubles as the lieu for every bird living within a ten mile radius.
