Isis Bassist Forms New Band Crone

Yes, that’s right.

Isis may be dead and buried, but its parts are still active and making music.

In fact, Crone, the new project from ex-Isis bassist Jeff Caxide, will release its debut effort Endless Midnight through Translation Loss on July 19.

The 5-track offering will run more than 50 minutes and feature guest appearances from Caxide‘s former Isis bandmates, Aaron Harris and Bryant Clifford Meyer. In addition to that, former Isis vocalist/guitarist Aaron Turner handled the artwork for the outing.

The songs on the disc are called “What You Dream Of,” “Ghost City,” “The Silver Hammer,” “Cellar Holes From A Lifetime Ago,” and “Endless Midnight.“
