Head on over to Jane’s Addiction’s Web site, and you can download a copy of a new song off of the band’s forthcoming LP, The Great Escape Artist, which should be in stores sometime this August.
You just have to sign up with your email, and you will have fresh, new Jane’s Addiction to listen to. The song is called “End To The Lies” and the chorus sounds like, “Into the light,” to me. I thought Perry Farrell was trying to convince me to die or something. Go into the light, Carol Ann.
An early, unfinished version of “End To The Lies” leaked on March 30 in Chile, when Farrell made an appearance on a Chilean radio station and played the song for the listeners; his appearance was to promote the Chilean version of Lollapalooza.
You can also hear a crappy, bootlegged version of the tune after the jump, if you don’t want to receive junk email from one of the most important band’s to emerge during the late 1980s.
